I've spent twenty years building and leading engineering and product organizations across healthcare, fintech, and climate tech from pre-seed to IPO. Today, I partner with founders to make technology and product decisions feel less like a black box and more like a strategic asset.
As your technical partner, I will:
- Diagnose what's slowing your team down and fix it—whether that's process, people, or architecture.
- Hire and structure your engineering leadership so you're not the bottleneck.
- Translate messy product and technical problems into clear plans with concrete next steps.
- Step in as fractional CTO or Head of Product when you need senior leadership now, not in three months.
My Approach
Partnership, not dependency. My goal is to help you make better, faster decisions, not to make myself indispensable. I step back when the team is ready to run.
Direct communication. You'll always know where I stand. I'm candid but thoughtful, especially when something feels off-track.
I write things down. Documentation reduces risk. I clarify roles, institutionalize knowledge, and make sure decisions don't live only in someone's head.
Context before solutions. I'll often ask "why" before diving into "how." The more I understand your goals and constraints, the better my advice will be.
Outcomes over deliverables. I prefer framing work in terms of results rather than rigid outputs. That lets me adjust quickly as priorities shift.
Async by default. Meetings are for alignment, not updates. Expect detailed follow-ups in writing.
